Dr. Konstantinos Chochlidakis, DDS, MS

Dr. Konstantinos Chochlidakis is the Program Director of the Prosthodontic Postgraduate Training Program at Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Dr. Chochlidakis received his dental degree from the University of Athens, Greece, in 2007 and then joined the Greek Army as a soldier dentist for one year. Following the military, Dr. Chochlidakis moved to the United Kingdom and worked as a general dentist, serving in the National Health Service and private practice. After completing the Prosthodontic residency at Eastman Institute for Oral Health in 2013, he joined Temple University for two years as a full-time Assistant Professor and Co-Director of Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics in the Restorative Department, Kornberg School of Dentistry.
Dr. Chochlidakis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists, Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Associate Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics (AP), and holds memberships in several dental organizations including the American Prosthodontic Society (APS). He was Vice-Chair of the American College of Prosthodontists 2019 annual meeting in Miami. He will serve as the scientific Chair of the American Prosthodontic Society in the 2022 annual meeting in Chicago.
Dr. Chochlidakis has authored several peer-reviewed publications and was recently awarded the Glen P. McGivney Scientific Writing Award for Systematic Review. He focuses on clinical research conducting clinical trials on full-arch implant prostheses, peri-implant tissues, digital dental technology, and dental ceramic materials. His specialty practice, within the University Dental Faculty Group: Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Implant Surgery, emphasizes Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. He lectures nationally and internationally on several topics related to clinical prosthodontics and implant dentistry.

Dr. Carlo Ercoli, DDS, MBA

Dr. Carlo Ercoli graduated from the “Enrico Berlinguer” Dental Technology Institute in Rome in 1987 and obtained his dental degree from the University of Siena, Italy, in 1993. He specialized in Prosthodontics in 1996 at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, where he also completed a one-year training in Temporomandibular Joint Disorders in 1997. In 2012, he achieved specialty certification in Periodontology at the University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health. He is currently Chairman of the Prosthodontic Postgraduate Training Program at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health. He is a board-certified Prosthodontist and Periodontist.
Dr. Ercoli is the Executive Council Member of the Academy of Prosthodontics, an ITI Fellow and holds memberships in several dental organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and American Prosthodontic Society. He is a Past President of the American Prosthodontic Society and past director of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.

His research interests are focused on the biomechanics, surgery, and tissue integration of dental implants, clinical implant prosthodontics, dental materials, and digital workflows. His specialty practice, within the University Dental Faculty Group: Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Implant Surgery, emphasizes Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Implant Surgery. He has lectured nationally and internationally on several topics related to clinical prosthodontics and implant dentistry.
Dr. Ercoli has won multiple awards, including the Bejan Iranpour Award for Excellence in Full-Time Clinical Education in 2016 and the Educator of the Year Award from the American College of Prosthodontists in 2020. He was the Scientific Chair of the American College of Prosthodontists 2019 annual meeting. He participated in the World Workshop for the Classification of Periodontal and Peri-implant Diseases in 2017-18.

Dr. Alexandra Tsigarida, DDS, MS

Throughout her training and practice, Dr. Tsigarida has been active in promoting dentistry through her involvement in dental research focusing on peri-implant biological complications and soft tissue augmentation. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and received multiple awards in international research meetings. Dr. Tsigarida is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of several national dental organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, International Team for Implantology and International Association of Dental Research. She also serves as the Chair of the Education Committee of the American Academy of Periodontology.
